“Creativity is intelligence having fun”

– Albert Einstein

Liv and Zac are The Joy Dispensary! Our diverse offerings are drawn from our eclectic range of knowledge and training in creative modalities and therapeutic practices. With over 40 years of combined experience in theatre, singing, music, dance, drumming, kinesiology, psychology, meditation, somatic therapies and game playing, we know how to have fun and are here to share it with you! We tailor our sessions specifically to the needs, strengths, challenges and capabilities of our participants through our playful and flexible approach. In a safe and encouraging environment, we bring people together, and illuminate the fun in brain function and the passion in compassion!

Olivia Cosham (Liv)

Since the age of three, Liv has explored and studied the joys of dance, singing, acting and music making, working as an all-round performer and musician within Australia and internationally. She has performed in theatre and cabaret productions, jazz and dance ensembles, and a variety of bands, and facilitated classes and workshops in dance, singing, music, movement meditation and body percussion. She works regularly as a percussionist, performing and facilitating African drumming workshops through Talkin’ the Drum, and also provides private sessions for NDIS clients.

Liv is a lecturer and researcher in Psychology of Music at University of Queensland, with a particular focus on the effects of active music-making on subjective wellbeing and human flourishing in vulnerable communities. A therapist in a range of modalities, including massage, bodywork and sound healing, Liv has composed and produced musical soundscapes to facilitate her sessions.

Liv aspires to increase awareness about the health benefits of creative play and musical expression, and continue sharing the joy!

Zac Callaghan

Zac is a published writer and award winning actor for theatre, specialising in one-person shows - touring performances and plays around Australia and internationally since 1989. Having studied Psychology and Theatre at the University of Queensland, Zac appreciates the power drama, music and creativity can bring.

With over 20 years of professional experience working as a therapist and workshop/retreat facilitator in bodywork, kinesiology, meditation, sound therapy and transpersonal development, Zac supports people into a state of embodied awareness where healing, transformation and joyful expression become possible.

Zac hopes to one day become a world class handpan player, multi-instrumentalist and remotely competent ukulele player!
